- Emily B, a bilingual Dominican-American student from NAF High School, was asked to be the translator for Stephany. Stephany joined Raising the Bar2 (an English Language Arts unit of MJAllen Ministries, LLC). Along with the extraordinary support from teachers at NAF, through self-discipline, determination, self-motivation, she adjusted at a rapid pace to the nuances of courses in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Language), Language Arts Intervention, English Language Arts, Math CCSS (Common Core State Standards), Science, U.S. History, and Physical Education.
